I think that this article could be improved by better defining the eCritStage variables. For example, what is the difference between GooStart and DisintegrateStart , I don't know, and neither does the article.

As far as I know, the only difference between the two is the type of death taking place. Unless the ways in which the ragdoll constraints vary slightly or something, I'd guess they're probably only separate so the type of disintegration can be determined.

I see, so they relate directly to certain Actor/Base effects. I can appreciate this function's usefulness for plasma/alien weapons, but what about fire weapons (shishkebab?) Damn bethesda and their hard coded magic effects.
