"Avoid calling this function to start a quest which is already running. If there is a script attached to the quest, any variables will be reset to 0 when the game is reloaded."

Does "reloaded" refer to a save being loaded, or the game being restarted? From that note, it looks like StartQuest could be used as a non-FOSE version of GetGameLoaded or GetGameRestarted, although I'm not quite sure which.

I read it as a typo, where "game is reloaded" should be "quest is reloaded": that is, that the quest would get reset by calling this. But I wouldn't want to bet on that without testing. DewiMorgan 14:50, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

The note was added by Scruggs on the CS Wiki so I've send him a message. Until this is clarified I've put up a warning.

When the game is reloaded is what I meant. I have not checked to see if the issue has carried over from Oblivion to Fallout 3 but I expect it has. Scruggs 01:16, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm going to change it to When the game is restarted When the saved game is reloaded to prevent any further confusion. Thanks Scruggs.
